A Brand New Blog for San Pedro High School Business Academy SLC

This is a brand new blog for the San Pedro High School (SPHS) Business Academy SLC in Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). The acronym SLC stands for Small Learning Community.

Obviously, there isn't much here at the moment, but that is only because this blog is just a few minutes right now. Over time, however, many useful posts will be added.

The Purpose of this Blog

The purpose of this blog is threefold...

The first purpose of the Business Academy Blog is to provide an online location for administrators and faculty members of the San Pedro High School Business Academy to exchange, share and retain ideas beyond the professional development meetings.

The second purpose of the Business Academy Blog is to provide links to other resources on the Internet that would help us to add value to our classroom instruction by connecting our students with fresh content on the Internet which pertains to the vision and objectives of the Business Academy.

The third purpose of the Business Academy Blog is to chronologically mark and record our progress as a Small Learning Community (SLC) within San Pedro High School and the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).
